How We Work

Five steps from past-due to paid

Most agencies dial, leave voicemails, and send template letters until something sticks. We build a case. That's why our average account resolves in 23.6 days—41% faster than the industry—and why 85.3% of large, timely-placed claims end in recovery.

  1. 01

    Credit Analysis

We investigate the debtor's financial position—company outlook and, where viable, the principals behind it. Before anyone picks up a phone, we know whether this debtor can pay.

  2. 02

    Deep Investigation

Company size, history, payment behavior, litigation record, and decision-makers—mapped before first contact. Debtors stall amateurs. They don't stall someone holding their own file.

  3. 03

    Strategic Contact

Negotiators with software & tech backgrounds engage the right person with the right leverage. Usage disputes, SLA claims, renewal arguments—we speak the language and we've heard every excuse.

  4. 04

    In-Field Pressure

When calls stall, our nationwide network of 15,000+ licensed investigators and attorneys makes it face-to-face. A knock on the door changes negotiations that ten phone calls couldn't.

  5. 05

    Documented Resolution

Written payment plans or settlements you approve—never ones you discover. Every agreement enforceable, every recovered dollar accounted for and remitted to you.

Where AI fits in

We're one of the first collection agencies to fully embrace agentic AI workflows. Skip-tracing, dispute documentation, account scoring, and follow-up cadences run on AI agents supervised by veteran collectors—so our people spend their hours where they actually move money: negotiating with your debtors.

That's how a boutique outpaces the mega-agencies. Machines handle the paperwork; experienced collectors handle the pressure. AI never contacts your customer—every debtor conversation is handled by a human negotiator.

What about litigation?

It's a tool, not a default. Because we gather the debtor's financial information up front, we can tell you whether a judgment would actually be collectible before you spend a dollar pursuing one. Most accounts never need it—a debtor who knows you're prepared to litigate, and can afford to, usually pays first.

When litigation is the right call, our attorney network covers all 50 states and 15+ countries, and our in-house lawyer—who holds both a business degree and a law license—manages strategy.

How you get paid

Recovered funds are held in a segregated trust account—never commingled with our operating accounts—and remitted to you after they clear, net of our contingency fee. Every remittance comes with an itemized statement showing what was collected, the fee applied, and the balance wired to you.

You'll also get status updates throughout the life of each account, not just at the end—so you always know where a recovery stands.

Your data, protected

AR placements are handled to SOC 2 Type II standard under enterprise-grade security controls. Your account details, invoices, and customer information stay confidential—used only to work the file and never shared beyond the people recovering it.

After you place an account, we send a secure link to upload invoices, contracts, and correspondence—nothing sensitive travels by ordinary email.
